Home / Signing

The chip signs. The screen explains.

NemoClaw keeps a private key in a dedicated security element. A computer can ask for a signature. Only the device can make one, and only after a person reads the screen and presses a button.

01

A request leaves the computer

Companion software on a machine you control prepares the details. It never receives the private key, and this website does not host that key either.

02

The device speaks plainly

NemoClaw shows the request on its own display. That is the screen you read before you press anything.

03

A finger decides

If the screen matches what you expect, you press the approve button. If it does not, you press the other button and nothing is signed.

What stays on the device

  • The private key, inside the security chip.
  • The PIN, entered on the device.
  • The recovery phrase, shown a single time on the screen so it can be written on paper and kept offline.

What this website will not ask for

Do not type a recovery phrase, a PIN, or a photo of the screen into nemoclawagent.com or into any message to us. A real setup shows those words on the device only. If a page or a caller asks you to read them aloud, stop and write to the company from the address on this site.

The longer note on why hardware screens became the habit is in the journal.
